Yesterday I released the latest episode of The Writing Coach podcast.
It was the first episode in almost two months.
If you listened to the episode, you heard J. Thorn and I discussed the challenges we have both experienced as professional creatives living and working throughout this global pandemic.
J. told me he responded to the pandemic by working twice as hard as ever before, nearly burning himself out in the process.
My response has been the opposite end of the spectrum; my instinct has been to pull back from creative work, reduce emails to my list, and stop podcasting almost altogether.
Of course, J and I agreed neither approach is very effective.
A much better way to go about work and life during uncertain times is with a reasonable and manageable plan of attack.
No burning yourself out, but no turning your back on your writing either.
This certainly may not be “the perfect time” to work on your craft, but the reality is there is never a perfect time.
Life seems to throw one challenge at us after another and the role of the artist is to persevere through those challenges and still create!
But that doesn’t mean you have to go it alone.
Despite being bound to our homes, most of us have access to tools, templates, resources, coaches, and communities that previous generations of writers never had available to them and would have been thrilled to access!
For example, today is the launch of Write Publish Profit 3.0 – the ultimate collection of tools, training, and resources for writers and self-publishers.
Write Publish Profit is a collection of over $4,000+ worth of premium ebooks, ecourses, software, discounts on professional formatting and cover design, & much more.
…but you can get everything for only $49 today.
Click here to check it out.
By the way, if this isn't for you, that's okay.
If you prefer to take some time off to focus your effort away from your writing and onto other things right now, it's all good. I get it. It’s what I've done for the last few months.
Of course, if you do decide that you could use some guidance, mentorship, and maybe a good kick in the butt to get writing again…the doors to Write Publish Profit 3.0 are open for a few more
days.
After that, this exclusive, limited-time deal vanishes into thin air, and you'll have to pay over $4k to get all the courses, ebooks, software, community access, and coupon codes crammed into this thing.
Your pal in writing,
Kevin T. Johns
