Hi ,

I just arrived back home in Ottawa after an amazing four days in Montreal, Quebec. 

I traveled to Montreal to attend LIFT, a fantastic conference for service-focused entrepreneurs. 

I gotta tell ya, it was incredibly motivating to spend three solid days listening to talks and attending workshops surrounded by people eager to start a business that actually makes the world a better place. 

Because that's our role as artists, isn't it?

We aren't just telling stories; we are changing the world. 

But changing the world takes resources.

Luckily, learning to build a business around your art provides you with resources like time, energy, options, and opportunities. 

And that's why I was in Montreal. I want to continue to change the world through art and by helping others create their art. 

Walt Disney puts it like this: "We don't make movies to make more money. We make money so that we can make more movies."

It's the same with your writing.

Once you get paid to write, you will be able to write more!
