Novel Boot Camp . . . in the JUNGLE!

Published: Sat, 12/30/17

Hi there

I hope you had an amazing Christmas and that you're gearing up for a killer New Years Eve.

This week is an excellent opportunity to spend some time planning for the year ahead. What are you going to do in 2018 to take your writing to the new level? Is this the year you are going to do something BIG? If so, my friend writing coach Doug Kurtz just might have the thing for you: Novel Boot Camp in the Jungle!

Ever fantasized about vacating your life for a while to do nothing but write? Like maybe somewhere in Central America, where not even your cell phone can reach you? At the edge of the jungle or on a palm-fringed beach? With the occasional swim, surf or yoga break before enjoying a great meal and writing by starlight?

Of course you have!

But wait...this isn't just some breezy fantasy about lazing around with a laptop and margarita you're talking about. You need to get stuff done; push your creative limits, drill into your novel's characters, plot, theme, while honing your process, hitting a word count and flexing your literary muscles in order to return home a stronger, faster, better writer than you were before.

This is Novel Boot Camp in the Jungle, and it's no fantasy at all. From March 2-7 2018, ten novelists with works in progress will gather in Nosara, Costa Rica to write, learn, plan, swim, surf, eat, drink, bond for five solid days and nights.

You can be one of these writers!

Your hosts will be Doug Kurtz and Dan Manzanares. Drawing on over two decades of professional writing and coaching experience, they are going to help you take your novel to the next level and map out a plan to reach your goals.

Drills, lectures, discussions, coaching sessions, inspirational yoga, open writing time, chef-prepared meals, happy hours and more are all part of the adventure, as is plenty of time to play, relax and explore.

(Did I mention that Nosara is Trip Advisor's number-one place to vacation in Costa Rica, and one of National Geographic's top twenty surf destinations in the world?)

This is going to be one serious (and rewarding) literary adventure!
