Don't read this if your 1st draft isn't done

Published: Wed, 01/27/16

Hi there

I'm a strong proponent of the theory that while creating the first draft of a manuscript, authors should focus almost exclusively on the drafting of their book.

That said, as soon as the first draft of your manuscript has been completed... it's time to start thinking about marketing.

Yes, I said it.

 "Marketing"... that DIRTY word!

You probably feel sleazy just reading it, right?

Well, as much as we would all like to believe that just producing great art will be enough to create and grow an audience, unfortunately, it rarely works out that way.

Learning how to effectively market books is utterly important if you're planning to make a career out of writing.

So... if you aren't done with that 1st draft yet, it's time to get back to work.

Seriously, I want 500 words out of you, STAT.

For those of you who have completed the first draft, NOW is the time to start working on your marketing strategy.

When your book gets published, you'll want to have a rabid audience of dedicated fans ready to snap it up! And that means getting started building your audience today.

I invite you to join me on a brand new webinar this evening: An Introduction to Social Media Marketing for Authors.

On this webinar, I'm going to explain the foundational concepts that are absolutely essential to properly understanding the relationship between social media, building an audience, and online book sales.

I look forward to seeing you on the webinar this evening!

Your pal in writing,

Kevin T. Johns, writing coach

P.S.  Sshhhh, don't tell anyone... but all these webinars (5 webinars in 5 weeks!) have been leading up to the launch of my latest product for writers like you.

This is going to be the biggest thing I've ever done.

It's going to combine video training, live webinars, one-on-one coaching, and much more!

I plan to offer it at the lowest possible price on the webinar only. The price will only go up from here, so make sure you save your spot on the webinar now.
