Write Along Radio has Launched (and we want YOU to be part of it)!

Published: Tue, 02/17/15

HiĀ ,

I'm thrilled to announce the launch of my brand new podcast, Write Along Radio.

My new internet radio show for writers features interviews with publishing industry experts, book chats, and writing challenges that I encourage YOU to participate in.

If you aren't yet familiar with podcasts, they are simply a radio show streamed over the internet! You can subscribe on your phone via the iTunes or Stitcher Radio apps, or you can just listen directly from our website. It's super easy!

Yesterday was launch day, and we came out of the gate swinging with FOUR awesome episodes.

In episode one, we speak with Mark Lefebvre, director of self-publishing and author relations at Kobo. Think your book only needs to be on Kindle? Wrong! Listen to this episode to find out why you need to get onto Kobo.

In episode two, we issue our first writing challenge: dare to share your writing! My co-host Catherine and I will be participating in the challenge, and we hope that you will too. Listen to the episode to learn more.

In episode three, we chat about some of our favourite books on writing. We discuss books by Stephen King, Steven Pressfield, James Scott Bell, Larry Brooks and more! Listen to the episode, and then let us know about your favorite books on writing.

Self-publishing a book can get pretty expensive. That's why more and more authors are choosing to crowdfund their books. In episode four, we speak with Justine Shofield from Pubslush, a crowdfunding platform specifically for authors.

We're going to be releasing a new episode of Write Along Radio every single day this week, so make sure you subscribe via iTunes or Stitcher.

In addition to all the great episodes, we are celebrating launch week with some exciting giveaways!

For example, you can enter here to win a $100 credit from the good folks at Pubslush.

I'm really excited about this new show, and it's focus on developing a community of writers like you, so I hope you enjoy listening and then participate in the fun.

Your pal in writing,

Kevin T. Johns
