how to forge community, make connections, and write your masterpiece

Hi ,

The longer I work in the field of writing, the more I realize how important community is to my success.

For a long time, I didn't connect with others writers, I didn't reach out and make friends, and I didn't put effort into developing a mailing list like this one.

That was a huge mistake on my part.

Last week I put out an offer for a free half-hour consultation with anyone on this list interested in chatting about writing. More than half a dozen of you took me up on the offer, and it made for an absolutely wonderful Saturday afternoon!

It was such a pleasure to get to know some of you better, to meet you face-to-face, to work with you on your writing challenges, and to share our creative experiences together.

These are the kinds of relationships and connections that are essential to all of our careers as writers.

That is why I wanted to share with you a guest post I wrote for the website, Smart Business Revolution, called:

In the article, I outline a number of different ways you can make connections with other writers and begin forging the relationships that will be essential to your long terms success.

I think you will find it useful!

Cheers,
