Mistakes Rookie Authors Make - Episode 2: Genre

Happy Monday Everyone!

A big welcome to all the new subscribers. I'm glad to have you on board. I'd love to hear from you, so if you haven't done so already, be sure to drop me a line and let me know what writing projects you are curretly working on and what types of the challenges you've faced.

This week's episode of Mistakes Rookie Authors Make focuses on a topic close to my heart: genre. Genre is of major importance to my writing, so much so that my novel, The Page Turners, has been described as a "love letter to genre fiction". Genre can be an extremely helpful tool, especially for first time authors, but it can also prove disastrous when misused!

But enough with the introduction already, lets get on with the episode!

Until next week, keep putting that pen to the paper and fingers to the keyboard. Novels are written one sentence at a time.
